boat rockerz 4oo

Hi, friends... it's KD here and I'm starting my new episode...

It's About Everything

Ohh... it sucked when all of my earphones got damaged. I had Samsung in-ear headphone and it had been my long companion during my traveling or in another way. Again I bought Sennheiser hd180... gosh... it betrayed me again, it failed to provide sounds... Anyway, the time comes on its own way. It's time to buy a new headphone.
Umm... It's advantageous for me to find a headphone, coz I'm ME grads and also pursuing MBA. When I was researching the online marketplace, there was something in my mind,

  • It should be economical
  • It should be value for money

And there was an obvious reason, I've no job in my hand, so I've less money in hand and I could invest a little for my headphone.I'd started my market research and at last, found the best headphone for me for my upcoming days, and it is... iball musitap, an on-ear budgeted headphone.

I bought it from Amazon by paying Rs.830 only. Ohh.. I was very happy at the time of unboxing and found my best headphone at my price level. But! there is a big "But", I found my headphone in damaged condition. It was "ughh" time for me. Bluetooth was not working. It may be a technical glitch, but I found out that build quality was very poor. Now I'm making it short, what I'd done with it??? I just called Amazon services and they placed a return on the same day. Ohh.. I got a big relief from that worst product and from my failed market research.

When I was selecting an earphone I'd considered the following:

  • There should be a Bluetooth, which can be operated by 3.5mm audio cable.
  • It should be in range, within Rs.1000 and must be value for money.

Now come to the point, how do you choose the best earphone???

Comfortability

There are three types of earphone in-ear, on-ear, and over-ear. As per the weight matter, in-ear is so light(10gms) and comfortable, but someone may feel uncomfortable or someone may have skin problem so it will be better for them to avoid it. An over-ear headphone is too bulky and heavy(400gms), so using it for a long time would be a problem. An on-ear headphone is more or less comfortable(200gms). If you are traveling it would be better to use in-ear or on-ear headphone. If you want to use it in your home then you can buy over-ear.

Noise cancellation

Just imagine you are on the bus, and the environment is so noisy. Now, you are not able to hear the sound of your earphone. You arbitrarily increase the volume, so that you can hear, but it will effect on your ear. So, noise cancellation is required for every earphone. It's two type, active noise cancellation, and passive noise cancellation. Most of the earphone have passive noise cancellation. For active noise cancellation, it requires a power source so it will be heavy and the price will be high.

Driver

Larger the driver, better the sound quality. If I Compare the three, then obviously over ear headphone have this advantage.

Range

If you purchase a Bluetooth headphone, then you must see the range of it. For maximum headphones, it is near about 10meters.

Playtime

If your Bluetooth headphone is working for only 2-3 hrs, then please don't buy it. If it is operated for 8hrs by charging 2-3hrs, then it is a good Bluetooth headphone.

Impedance

For any earphone, the impedance should be within 50 ohms. For higher impedance, the power requirement is too high, so for the earphone, it is within 50 ohms. And it works well if the impedance is low for the earphone.

I think that I've covered most of the important aspect. The same that I'd followed at the time of purchasing my brand new earphone. I'd gone through several sites and find various Bluetooth headphone within Rs1500. But, Caution! there are many counterfeiters in the market, they use the brand name of the good company, and sell their cheap product in the market. So, it would be better to purchase from an authorized dealer, even you buy it from e-sellers. Like, Cloudtail is an authorized dealer for Amazon India.

At that time I'd selected some headphones from the company like zoook, boat, iball, envent, lifelike, potronic, acideye. I'd gone through their site and prioritized the headphone as per my requirements. I saw the customer review, I saw the build quality and the looks.

Now it was the time for taking the decision. At last, I bought boat rockerz 400 the blue-black variant from Amazon by Rs1299.

Bluetooth headphone

It came with a box containing one wireless headphone, one audio and charging cable each and a manual.

It also comes with different variants i.e. grey-green, black-red, black & carbon black. The printed price is Rs2990, but you can buy it from Amazon by paying Rs1299. If you can wait for an offer, then there is a possibility to get it by Rs999.

Installation is very easy, and I don't want to cover it here. It provides hd sound quality. I can use it in the Bluetooth mode as well as with 3.5mm audio jack. I can call as handsfree also. The specifications are as follows,

I'm using it from the last 20days and I'm very comfortable with it. The sound quality and bass are mind blowing, and the playing time is also good. If I conclude, it is a worth for money.
